The Italian Initiative Group, GII, is the association representing the Italian community and its diversified interests in Brussels: business, research, innovation, services, food and agriculture. Since 1995, GII thrives to improve Italy’s image in the European capital through a better coordination of the Italian stakeholders and the establishment of a network of relations with Belgian and European Institutions.
In the latest years, GII has been promoting high-profile meetings with institutional and entrepreneurial spokesmen going through economic and business topics regarding Italy and Europe.
In 2011 GII also established the “Premio Italia-Europa” as a reward to representatives of Italian institutions and enterprises whose activities gained wide consenus in promoting Italy’s image in Europe.

The British Chamber of Commerce, BNP Paribas e The Fry Group, in collaboration with the Italian Initiative Group, are inviting you to the event Expat Financial Affairs that will be held at BNP Paribas di Bruxelles, in Rue de la Chancellerie 1, on Tuesday 9th October from 18.00 to 21:30. The event has the aim to provide the audience with informative presentations on investments, pensions, self-employment and estate planning.

The Italian Initiative Group organized a working dinner with, as guest of honor, the President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani on July 10th at the Hotel Stanhope in Brussels. The meeting has also benefited with the participation of the Italian Ambassador in Belgium H.E Elena Basile and it represents an important opportunity to bring together the GII's Members.
