Italy-Europe Award | EU rapporteur on the future of the single market, MEP and former Council President, Enrico Letta

On November 11, 2024, the Italian Initiative Group was delighted to invite its members to attend the Italy-Europe Award ceremony, which featured Enrico Letta.

As per tradition, the Italian Initiative Group awards the Italy-Europe Prize to the most distinguished institutional personalities who have shown commitment and dedication to the development and industrial competitiveness of Italy and the European Union.

The Honourable Enrico Letta was awarded the Italy-Europe Prize in recognition of his role in the drafting of the report on the future of the European Union’s internal market on behalf of the European Council. The report indicated a growth path for the future of Europe by reducing the fragmentation of strategic sectors such as finance, telecommunications, energy, and transport.
