In conversation with Giancarlo Giorgetti | Italian Minister of Economic Development

The videoconference with Giancarlo Giorgetti, Italian Minister of Economic Development, represented an important opportunity to engage with the Italian institutions about the main challenges and priorities – economic, political and social – of Italy in the EU.

The debate with Minister Giorgetti tackled the Italian priorities in the current delicate economic and geopolitical framework. In light of the instability on the Russian-Ukrainian borders, at the center of the debate were the diversification of energy sources and strategic autonomy, the Italian priorities in energy and digital transaction in defense of national interests, as well as the need for  administrative simplification for the proper functioning of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
