In conversation with Francesco M. Talò | Italian Permanent Representative to NATO
The meeting with Francesco M. Talò, Permanent Representative to the NATO, offered the Members of GII an important opportunity to engage with the Italian Institutions about the most pressing issues and main economic, political and social priorities of Italy within NATO.
The main topics discussed were related to to the Russian-Ukrainian war, the conclusions of the NATO summit in Madrid, in particular the critical role played by the Atlantic Council in the framework of European security and the defensive mission of the Euro-Atlantic area, as well as the measures aimed to guarantee the food and energy security of the member countries of the alliance.
