On 21 May 2024, the members of the Italian Initiative Group (GII) were delighted to welcome Andrea Sironi, the President of Assicurazioni Generali and Bocconi University. The event offered an in-depth discussion on issues of particular relevance for the future of Europe’s financial and insurance market. During the meeting, Andrea Sironi shared his analysis on the need to overcome the fragmentation of financial supervision in the EU, consolidate European stock exchanges, mobilise savings and boost investments to further strengthen the real economy.
