Meeting with Ambassador Aingeal O’Donoghue, Permanent Representative of Ireland to the EU

The Italian Initiative Group is pleased to invite you to attend a working dinner to be held on Tuesday, 26 May at 7:30 PM (venue TBC), in the presence of the Permanent Representative of Ireland to the EU, Aingeal O’Donoghue.

The meeting will be dedicated to an exchange of views on the European Union’s main priorities and its medium-term political outlook, with a particular focus on Ireland’s upcoming Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2026, its priorities, and related opportunities.

The discussion will be held in English and, as customary, will be conducted under the Chatham House Rule. The guest of honour’s introductory remarks will be followed by a Q&A session open to all GII members.

GII members who wish to take the floor are kindly requested to indicate this in advance and to provide, at the time of registration, a question or input in English on the topics of interest. The inputs received will be grouped by sector/thematic area and shared in advance with the guest as a basis for her remarks.
