On Tuesday, 2 December, from 14:00 to 16:00, at the European Parliament, the presentation of the third edition of the EU STEM Observatory took place. The event was organized by the Italian Initiative Group and Deloitte. During the meeting, Deloitte presented the key findings of the EU STEM Observatory 2025, which analyzes the perspectives of companies, universities, students, and young professionals through more than 11,000 interviews across 10 European countries, offering valuable insights to support the scientific and technical education of future generations.

The initiative brought together representatives from European institutions, academia, and think tanks, with the aim of identifying barriers and drivers of change to expand access to STEM education.

  • H.E. Vincenzo Celeste, Permanent Representative of Italy to the European Union

With the EU STEM Observatory, Deloitte and the Italian Initiative Group aim to contribute to a stronger European ecosystem, capable of promoting lifelong learning, inclusion, and sustainable growth.
